P/S, has been sick (still sick) for months. This explains the lack of updates.
The family treated me like their own, perhaps because they always long to have a daughter but unfortunately both turn out to be very masculine boys. All my essentials were well taken care of. When I first greet them, the language barrier didn't get in between. They spoke in their dialects that I need to read in between the lines to make sense of what they meant. The family consists of old granny, father, mother and the younger brother. I don't really believe in Zodiac, but the reality that us all being non-carnivores (sheeps and horses) indeed make connecting easier. I felt I behaved like a fool as all I know is to smile at everything they say or play with Yellow to prevent awkwardness.
The first day when I entered the courtyard, it wasn't what I was expecting. I was hoping to see very ancient homes like what you see in the TV, made of wood instead of concretes. I imagined candles on the table in the middle of the rooms with a pot of tea. He said I'm crazy as no one could have survived the cold brutal winter in this kinda settings. He felt at home, well this was his home and he did try his best to make me feel at home too.
It looks like the family was anticipating my arrival. (Well it was the first time a foreigner visited for a homestay.)
